I have a fully restored 86 Gmc that I need to protect the paint on. Will these mudflaps work on a older model Gmc. The rocks are kicking off tires and chipping paint. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These will work with they truck. They attached to the lip of the fender. I would only recommend these flaps and brackets for a truck that is lifted.
