When you bought your truck the Super Duty letters are there on your tailgate but they just don't quite have the pop you want. The traditional stainless steel will stand out the most with dark colored vehicles and really add a nice contrast to the tailgate. They high quality stainless steel used will keep it high gloss shine for years to come with proper maintenance. The Gunmetal with their dark grey hue will offer a good contrast on light color or white vehicles. This will give your truck a look that will be hard for anyone else to replicate. It is a little subtler than the high gloss of the stainless but it no less impressive.

Installation for these can be done by anyone. There is no drilling required. Here are the install instructions below:

1. Clean the surface with Isopropyl alcohol or another alcohol based cleaner. Make sure the surface is free of any oils or dust/dirt prior to applying your trim with the Automotive Grade 3M Tape. The ideal temperature for the 3M tape to perform its bets is between 60° - 110° degrees F (16° - 43° C)
2. Before peeling the tape and applying the Tailgate Skins always do a "Dry Fit" first. You can return the tailgate letters at any time as long as the tape is not peeled off.
