What would it take to install on my 2010 Avalanche? Could I drill new holes to make it work?

Here is the Gateking for the 2010 SIlverado 1500, https://www.sharptruck.com/gate-king-adjustable-truck-bed-extender-2 I am not familiar with the Avalanche tailgate. If it is the same as the SIlverado this would do the trick
