Year in and year out, Truck Hardware’s Gatorback logo mud flaps are among SharpTruck’s most popular sellers. For those looking to add branded attitude to their truck, these flaps provide a sleek, yet tough appearance.
No matter where your travels lead, and no matter how you get there, Truck Hardware mud flaps are manufactured to provide top-of-the-line protection with maximum function. Whether you drive a traditional Dodge Ram, a new RAM, Laramie Longhorn or are proud of your Hemi, the selection of flaps is tailored to fit your taste.
Why use mounting brackets on your RAM truck?
While many drivers like to mount their flaps directly to the truck itself, there are different styles of mounting brackets available to strengthen the flap itself and provide better support.
This will also result in a nice, straight flap that doesn’t curl, bend, roll, or tear over time. Highway haulers and off-roaders alike will find Truck Hardware’s Gatorback and Razorback bracket systems to be a simple install.
RAM trucks come in all sorts of colors... Red, white, black, and blue. No matter what your preference is, Truck Hardware mud flaps are geared to keep your paint job sparkling and make your favorite ride standout even MORE on the highway than ever before.
Getting the correct brackets
If you’ve ordered your mud flaps and want to be sure your brackets match your stock make/model, a quick guideline is provided below…
For single rear wheel RAM trucks the only custom fit brackets available are Offset brackets. This will give your flap more clearence from the tire. Most RAM owners simply mount the flap to the wheel well and the liner. This provides plent of support for the flap.
If you have a dually you will need mounting brackets for the rear flaps.

These brackets will fit any vehicle, unlike the custom flaps they might require some drilling to get them installed on the vehicle. You do have a few more options with the universal style.
Offset Brackets - These brackets will give you some more clearence from your tires. If your tires are oversized the offset brackets will keep the flap from rubbing on the tire. They are available in stainless steel and black powder coat, if black is more your style.
"L" Style Brackets - These are angled steel that you can attach to your truck frame. They come in a 12" size for standard flaps but they are also avaiable in a size for dually flaps. Don't be fooled by the simple design, these are effective brackets and will hold up as well as the flaps.
Brackets are specifically important for dually flaps, as they are very heavy and brackets help support their hefty anatomy.
No matter where your travels lead, and no matter how you get there, Truck Hardware mud flaps are manufactured to provide top-of-the-line protection with maximum function. Whether you drive a Ford F150, Dodge RAM, Chevy Silverado, or GMC Sierra, the selection of flaps is tailored to fit virtually any taste.
