That is the size you need. The bed maybe referred to as 5.5 but it is 5 ft 6.7 in so it will do the trick for you

Yes they can, as long as the liner is not an over the rail. The cover installs with clamps on the truck bed rails.

The bed length is all that matters when picking a cover. All the 2022 Silverado 1500's are a standard width. This particular cover installs overtop of the bed rails so the inside width is not an important measurement for install
