Hi! I have a set of new GM factory fender flares. I am concerned about the flares rubbing into the fenders and ruining the paint. The flares have pre-installed tape, and a backing to peel off when you stick the top of the flare to the fender. Will your tape allow the pre-installed tape to stick and not come off?

This will add another layer of protection. The 3M tape will stick to it as well. Just make sure to clean the surface thoroughly
