Richard, I would recommend the full style flaps with the fender flares. It will give you more rubber to work with. You will need to mount the flaps to the lip of the fender and not the flare in order to support the weight of the flap. This might require some trimming of the flaps for the front wheel well but it will give you the best install. You can still fasten the flap to the flare to hold it tight to the flare but the weight would need to supported by the fender itself.
