Questions for Truck Hardware Gatorback Black Plate Mud Flaps - 14" Wide - Anodized Brackets

The AA flaps have an anodized aluminum plate on the bottom that gives the flaps a more finished look, the BK's do not have a plate at all. There is not a performance difference between a plate and no plate. It is just aesthetics
