I'm not getting the protection from the stock performed mud flaps. Do these hang lower? I'm considering buying the front and back. I just want to make sure they do a better job protecting the truck. Thank you,

You get Front - 8.75" of tire coverage from bottom of the factory protector to bottom of the flap Rear - 8.75" of tire coverage from bottom of the factory protector to bottom of the flap
