Questions for EZ4X4 EZFreedom Top Hinge and Lock Kits - JKU - 4 Door
My JKU had a black roof but it’s not as shiny as the one depicted in your video. It’s a dull finish. Does that make a difference on adhesive of hinges.

It won't make a difference. You just need to make sure the top has been cleaned thoroughly so the tape adheres to the surface.
