Truck Hardware Skid Plates

Ordered this skid plate for my truck.  Install was a bit of challenge for just one of the bolts at the engine (one you had to enlarge hole on).  I used a small rubber hose with shrink tape around around hose and end of bolt.  Once I did that, it was super easy to get that bolt through plate to tighten down.  Using that method would have saved about 30 minutes.  overall, the plate is very thick and once installed is rock solid.  Just a great design and it looks fantastic and adds piece of mind.  The opening for the filter and oil drain plug is large enough that changing oil will never be an issue.  This is a must buy!

Ordered this skid plate because the filter and hoses were so open to potential issues.  Really glad that I did.  Was easy to install and looks fantastic while still very easy to service when the time comes.

This is a must need to protect the fuel/water separator filter.  Never realized how exposed the fuel separator was until I installed this guard kit.  This should be standard.  Pictures show the before and after the guard kit installed.  Had this powder coated flat black to "hide" from outside.

Skid Plate is perfect fit.  Great to have it on and knowing it will protect the oil pan.  I had it custom powder coat to match lift kit and wheels.

This product satisfied what is needed for front of vehicle.  Cannot find any plates to cover fuel tank.  Have installed cover for transmission and motor oil pan.  These items required for driving on rough roads in Colorado and Texas.  Light bar perfect for snow

Pretty straight forward installation. Right forward bolt was tricky. Long needle nose (storks) to get things started. Long open end to finish it off.  Very solid plate aluminum. 5 stars.
