Truck Hardware Dura Strip Fender Flare Tape

I purchased this because I had my fender flares line - x and I didn't want them to destroy my brand new paint. The two part process worked flawlessly.

I installed some new fender flares on my 2013 Ram 2500, paint was peeling off the previous flares. When I removed them I found they had rubbed clear through the pain and down to the metal. Wish I knew about this product earlier.  Clear instructions made it an easy installation. Plenty of tape in this package to do another full set. Pro tip: Have clean hands when applying tape. Dirty fingers leave very noticeable prints.

The Dura strip protective tape was really easy, while installing the Fender Flares, it takes two times with the Fender Flares but I think it’s well worth it to protect that edge and the paint on the truck, I recommend putting the blue strip tape at least a quarter inch away from your fender flare, because the final installation of the Fender Flares usually creeps up a little bit onto the protective tape, after tightening down the little screws on the Fender Flares . I added the gator back mudflaps front and back it turned out nice,the clamp turned out being very useful On Fender Flares installation ! I reuse the blue tape by rapping  to a can, and I think I have enough protective tape to do another truck :-) thanks Sharp Truck delivery was fast product was easy to work , Very high-quality..!

Simple enough to use just mask off around flares then remove your flares and tape to the masked lines. Awesome product just hope it holds up well over time.

This tape is worth it’s weight in gold! A little time consuming but worth every minute.

This kit was easy to use. I had not installed my flares yet, so it almost doubled the time it takes to finish the install. I am very happy so far and think this will save the paint where the flare rides on the truck.

Fender Flare tape was easy to install even around turns. Added marking tape made the job a breeze.
