Don, we appreciate the feedback, we did attempt to call you back a couple of times from the email that you sent but were not able to connect. With it being the holidays our phones were very busy and if there was no answering machine we were on the other line with another customer, your patience and understanding is appreciated.
With these flaps there is a custom fit mounting bracket that we do recommend for installation that helps with the mounting height of a truck that does not have a lift or oversized tires. The bracket you need varies on the year of your Sierra, that information can be found on mud flap page where you added it to your cart.
The good news is with Gatorbacks there is a lifetime warranty against tear offs like what happened. Simply send a pic of the flap that tore, or the wheel well along with what flap is needed to [email protected] and we can send out a new rubber flap free of charge. You will just need to transfer the plate from the old flap to the new one. It is held on with 5 screws and all that is needed is a Phillips head screw driver.
