Truck Hardware Gatorback 12"x23" Z71 Cut Mud Flaps

I've had these on the rear of my '17 Silverado Duramax for about a year and a half and finally decided to put them on the front as well to stop crap from spraying all over the sides. I really cannot fathom what GM was thinking when they put the plastic splash guards on the front as they don't stop anything from spraying all over the sides of the truck. The only reason I'm marking these down to 4 states as opposed to the full 5 is that there is no template for recommended drilling locations for specific vehicles or a no drill mounting option for the front like there is for the rear. I saw a no drill option for the newer 2020+ Chevys, but not my '17. As such, I've included a picture of where my screws went (I had extras from doing the rears as both the flaps and the brackets come with hardware). I hope this helps a future buyer with installation. If you're on the edge, these flaps are fantastic and look great. They're definitely a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Great addition to the truck! Easy install, and for me I was able to do a custom fit on my 2006 Chevy 1500. It’s has the stock suspension, but even if it were lifted, you can still fit the how you like. Also, I did not use the included hardware, I did not want to drill holes in the body, instead I took the clips from my fender flares off and I put and new longer plastic clip through the hole in the flap (I measured and drilled) and right through the body. Awesome!

I purchased a set of 4 for my truck because my entire running boards were covered in mud and dirt and the lower part of the bed behind the wheel. Install by myself wasn't very difficult Flaps are awesome the only reason for 4 star is because I had to use two of the supplied self tapping screws. I used the two lower factory screw holes along with the bigger supplied washer. It turned out good ad now my running boards stay clean. Again awesome product
