First let me say these are excellent steer tire mud flaps.  The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it took some time to make sure it was level and square, an extra set of hands would've probably helped.  But when I mounted it with the existing OEM screws it was level, but when I went to drill and mount the supplied hardware the flaps would flex/pull and no longer remain level/square, and this didn't sit well with my OCD.  This installation required some attention to detail and adjustments, some of the pre drilled holes in the mud flaps needed to be drilled slightly oversized to get everything lined up and level at in the end.  Not a deal breaker, just needed some extra time, but overall great quality steer tire mud flaps.

Two words describe these mud flaps, heavy duty.  The chrome is solid and looks great, perfect addition to any DRW HD. These are OTR grade mud flaps, well worth it in my opinion.  My recommendation is to also purchase the mounting brackets, it really made the installation straight forward.  When it comes to mounting mud flaps and drilling the holes you'll definitely need a right angle drill, and with the lower holes you'll also need to just jack up the frame a little to unload the springs (tires don't need to leave the ground) to get the right angle drill between the tire and mud flaps, and those were the last holes I drilled when I was installing them after I made sure all the other holes lined up and they were level.  And if you decide to get the mounting brackets, I trimmed two more washers so that they were not over lapping some of the other hardware, see the picture I posted.

These mud flaps are heavy duty and heavy weight, and mounting them to this bracket really made the installation easy and straight forward.  The only problem I had was the the middle of the three holes that were supposed to us the existing factory screws didn't line up with the pre hole, I needed to drill into the OEM fender flairs.  Wasn't too happy about that, but I do not ever plan on taking these off, so it'll never be seen, but it's not enough for me to not give it 5 stars, these brackets really took the guess work out, and something tells me RAM moved the middle hole for the screw.

These fit appropriately for a front mudflap. I think they are necessary on my truck at least because it helps keep the mid from building up behind the wheel well where all the electrical connections are made. The ram logo isn't really seen if you have side steps so you may not want to spend the extra dollars for the logo. I do suggest installing 3 more fasteners to keep the mudflap in place. The fonts were easy to install with wheels on, crank the steering one way then the other to make room for drilling and whatnot.

These mud flaps, both front and rear wheel dually are very heavy duty! They look awesome! The rear mud flap mounting brackets are a must, in my opinion. The hardware adds a tremendous amount of stability to the flaps! I am very pleased with these GatorbackMud Flaps and mounting brackets and would recommend these to anyone in the market for a good quality set!
