Front Flaps: These flaps are heavy duty and solid. Install was easy. Took about 20 minutes to install both sides. The online installation video was helpful.
Rear Flaps: Nice heavy duty, solid flaps. Installation was a bit challenging. Not having a lift, it was difficult to access some of the bolt locations. Also, one of the outer holes in the flap and mounting bracket did not align with the factory hole. Easy solution was to drill a new hole in the flap and mounting bracket that aligned with the factory hole. Having a right angle drill is beneficial and eliminates the need to remove wheels. The instruction could be clearer, but the online installation video was helpful in clarifying things.
Rear Brackets: These brackets appear to add a lot of support to the heavy dually flaps. I anticipate that they will lessen the wear on the tub liner. Installation was easy and straight forward. The only thing to note is one of the outer holes did not align with the factor hole on the truck. Simple solution was to drill a new hole in the bracket to align with the factory hole on the truck.
Mounting Brackets are good quality and designed well. I gave it 4 Stars because the hardware kit provided is adequate but I don’t understand why you would use stainless steel split lock washers on a stainless steel flat washer. Besides the extra effort to put it all together when you are contorting your body under the truck. I would recommend using stainless steel nylock nuts and save yourself time and effort installing the mud flaps with this bracket kit.
The brackets and instructions don’t distinguish which one is left or right. Also be prepared to get frustrated and try several methods to finally get them in. If you have long arms or happen to have a truck lift you will probably make easy work of it. In addition the screws that come with it are fragile so be easy on tightening. They break with little torque.
These mudflaps are well made and look Awesome! They were a little difficult to install but once we figured it out on the first one the second was easy to do.
Heavy duty rubber, front set was quick and easy to install. Rear set I had some trouble with tightening the rear backets in the limited space. Rerouting the harness i had to replace the plastic pushin rivots due them breaking. I am still happy with my purchase and expect to enjoy these new mud flaps for a very long time.
These mud flaps are heavy duty and heavy weight, and mounting them to this bracket really made the installation easy and straight forward. The only problem I had was the the middle of the three holes that were supposed to us the existing factory screws didn't line up with the pre hole, I needed to drill into the OEM fender flairs. Wasn't too happy about that, but I do not ever plan on taking these off, so it'll never be seen, but it's not enough for me to not give it 5 stars, these brackets really took the guess work out, and something tells me RAM moved the middle hole for the screw.
