5. Gently glide the clay bar across the lubricated surface using a back-and-forth motion. Do not apply excessive pressure
6. Continue to work the clay bar across the surface until it glides smoothly and contaminants are removed
7. Wipe the area with a clean microfiber cloth to remove any residual lubricant and contaminants
8. Inspect the clay bar and fold it over to reveal a clean side when it becomes dirty or contaminated
9. Repeat the process until the entire vehicle has been treated
10. Follow up with your preferred wax, polish, or sealant to protect the surface
