This hitch is built around a single-piece, machined ball socket that creates a strong, precise connection and won't flex or shift under heavy strain. This is a custom, vehicle-specific application designed to bolt to the factory mounting points on the trucks listed below.

Installation is a straightforward bolt-on job. The custom brackets attach to existing holes in your truck's frame — no welding and no bed removal required. You will need to cut one 4"-diameter hole in the bed for the hitch ball and drill smaller holes for the built-in safety-chain loops. The operating handle is positioned at the rear driver's-side wheel well so you can lock or release the ball without climbing into the bed. Most installers complete the job with basic hand tools and a drill; we recommend reviewing the included B&W instructions for your specific truck before you begin.

Keep the hitch working smoothly by applying white lithium grease to the corners of the square ball post as needed — how often depends on how much you tow and how dirty your environment is. If the grease coating looks gone, it's time to reapply. Wipe out the socket if debris collects, keep the moving handle and pin clean, and store the ball flipped down in the socket when it's not in use to keep it protected. An occasional rinse and inspection of the locking pin will keep everything operating reliably for years.

The B&W Turnoverball is backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, cosmetic finish wear, and damage from misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, or improper installation are not covered.
