Installation and FAQs:
Installation is straightforward, requiring about 2-3 hours, and can be a fun project with a friend. The system is designed for easy removal, taking about 15 minutes to detach if needed. It's built from high-density polyethylene, stainless steel hardware, cast aluminum handles, and a galvanized steel frame, ensuring durability and longevity.
FITMENT: Despite similar dimensions, all Drawer Systems are laser cut to fit an exact make, model and year. We cannot guarantee the fitment of Drawer Systems not made specifically for that vehicle.
TAILGATE GAP: There will be about 4.5" of empty space between the tailgate end of the DECKED system and the tailgate. DECKED drawers require 4" to be opened, but the first 5.5" of the drawer are taken up by the handle cavity and drawer taper. So, it is nearly impossible to remove anything from the drawers with the tailgate closed.
TAILGATE HANDLE: The Ford tailgate assist handle mounted on the tailgate MAY interfere with DECKED Drawer System depending on model year. You can easily remove the handle. The tailgate step will not impact the installation or use of your DECKED Drawer System.
