Either one will plug your filter and fuel lines and shut your engine down, usually at the worst possible time. Thaw-It uses a special blend of organic and petroleum co-solvents to dissolve those wax and ice crystals and re-liquefy the fuel, breaking up the blockage and getting fuel moving through your system again.

Directions & Dosage
Thaw-It is for emergency use once your fuel has already gelled or iced. If you can, remove the plugged fuel filter and replace it with a new one. If you have to reuse the existing filter, pour out as much of the ice or gelled fuel as possible first.

• Fuel filter: Fill the filter with a 50/50 mix of Thaw-It and diesel fuel. Do not fill the filter with 100% Thaw-It.
• Fuel tank: Add 32 oz of Thaw-It for every 50 gallons of fuel.
• Wait: Give the treatment about 20 to 30 minutes to work.
• Restart: Start the engine and let it warm up before you drive or operate the equipment.

Important: Thaw-It is meant for emergency use only, when fuel has already gelled or iced. It is not designed for regular, continuous, or preventative treatment. For everyday cold-weather protection that keeps fuel from gelling in the first place, use Enertech Polar Flow or another preventative fuel treatment.
