Tapered tank features exclusive low fuel trap design so most every gallon can be used, and is approximately only 2” deeper than the stock OEM tank. Titan Fuel Tanks Direct Replacement, Mid-Ship Fuel Tanks are manufactured to use the trucks stock/original equipment fuel sending unit. The trucks stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted into the Titan tank. They are a direct fit, there are no modifications needed. With use of the stock sending unit, the trucks analog fuel gauge will read correct and accurate with the Titan tank.
This new General Motors tank is made of military grade, cross-linked polymer (XLHDPE). It’s at least ¼” thick and built to outlast all competitors. It’s tougher than steel and more durable than aluminum. Like all fine Titan products, this new design has undergone extensive testing.
