Loved them at first, but..............

I bought the mud to express my pride in the Long Horn edition Ram I was driving. The cost of the mud flap was over twice that of other products of same material and quality. The only difference was the Long Horn Logos. I could not find the mud flaps with Long Horn Logos anywhere else.
the initial quality of the mud flaps was amazing, very heavy rubber material and great logo. They installed very easy. In retrospect, I would only purchase the rear set of flaps with the logo because my running boards hide the front logos.
In less than one year I am seeing rust stains on the logo plate and I can not remove it. It is so sad that I spent so much money on the logo that is now rusting.

Thank you for the review. The good news is what you are seeing is not rust. With the plates made of 304 stainless steel there can be some surface corrosion but that is easily clean up to get the plates looking good as new. Here is a video we have done to show you how easy it is to clean up, https://youtu.be/prEI0Q6d8K4

Rear Flaps and Mounting Brackets; Front Flaps Great! Front Mounting Brackets Bad!

I love the look of these mud flaps!  They certainly should, for the price paid for them.  The rear mounting brackets are pure genius in design; they'll never fall off.  The front brackets, though, are just as bad as the rear ones are great.  To properly mount them, you have to cut the front mud flaps and leave less than a foot of each one!  I modified the brackets to work with the full flaps, but I should NOT have had to do that at these prices.

The mounting/backing plates went in without a hitch. Then went to install the rubber flaps, watched videos and read directions. No holes in the flaps to match the plates. Very confusing, can't locate holes below with plates installed. They say if you buy them from Ford the flaps are predrilled for the 2017 Super Duty. Payed top dollar for these, should be done right. Not happy with them.

Mud Flaps for 2019 F350

The new mud flaps look really good on the truck. I got them because the tires on the truck throw stones under the truck. We did a 600 mile trip and we did not hear a single rock bouncing off the underside of the truck.  That in itself is worth the cost of these things.  I suspect I will also stop seeing new dings in the front of our RV.

Now for the not so good.  Our truck is a King Ranch and has both flare trim and wheel well liners.  As a result there are not many options available for mud flaps that mount correctly.  The mounting kit for these mud flaps fit, although they actively resist being installed.  You must remove the tire in order to have adequate access for the installation.  The front installation requires the removal of some of the clips holding the flare trim so that you can get to all the screws and bolts.  The rear installation also requires the flare trim to be move some and the liner has to be unsecured so you can get a one factor bolt.  It took me about two hours for each front mud flaps and just under three hours for each rear mud flap.  For some reason, some engineer thought a cheap little plastic pop in nut would be a good idea. It is not.  The instructions warn about over tightening and stripping the nuts.  Unfortunately, there is no way to get the screws tight enough so that the rubber mud flap does not move around. The plastic nut either pops out or strips.  I drilled out the square holes for the plastic nuts and installed 5/16 stainless steel nut rivets.  Then I used 5/16 stainless steel button head bolts and stainless steel fender washers to secure the mud flaps to the brackets.  Every bolt got some blue Loctite 243 thread locker to make sure nothing come loose.  Overall, a pain to install but once done, they look great and work well.

We ordered these mud flaps from  Sharp Truck because Buick said there aren't any  that fit. They were wrong. After placing our order we had them the next day and had them installed by our dealers body shop. They look great and should provide ample protection to the sides of the vehicle.
