Great Product - Horrible Instructions

I love how the step bars look on my Ram. It just took forever to get the attached because of two issues. Issue #1 was that the instructions were incorrect for driver side mounting bracket positions. The factory installed bolts made it clear which brackets to use on the driver's side, which was not how the install was described in the instructions. Issue #2 was more frustrating. The rear-most bracket would not fit. I double checked the instructions and confirmed by using the stamp on the part (there's a P stamp and a D stamp) that I was working with the correct passenger-side component. I finally gave up and tried to install the driver's side bracket on the passenger side, and everything fit together perfectly. I hope the instructions can be fixed and the part stamp is corrected to prevent others from going through the same headache I went through.

Westin Pro Traxx 5" nerf step bars feature a 5" oval tube with a heavy-duty step pad that gives you a wider and more secure step area. This will make sure it is safer and easier to get into your vehicle. The bars have a 30 degree bend at each end and seamless domed end caps so there are no seams or exposed bolt heads. This gives the Pro Traxx a clean and finished look that most other bars can't come close too.

The bars come in two finishes, stainless steel or a black powder coated steel.

Installation is bolt-on so there is no drilling into your vehicle and these are backed by a Westin warranty. The stainless bars have a lifetime warranty while the black powder coat have a 3 year warranty.
