(1) Confirming that this will fit a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 short-bed (67.5 inside length).

This will fit the 2023 SIerra 1500 short bed. There is not a cover that will work with this. The rack installs on the inside of the bed caps so a cover cannot be fastened to the truck.
