Truck Hardware Gatorback Mud Flaps

Made an error during my order and customer service was able to make the intended changes before it even shipped. Shipping was reasonable and installation was very simple - I did find that using 2 people for the install really cuts down on the time, although installing alone is not difficult either. The flaps are heavy duty and have a good weight to them and do exactly as they are intended. I am very pleased with how they look on 2015 RAM Limited.

I've always install mud flaps on all my vehicles and these are the best by far. They are very heavy duty (and just plain heavy !), easy to install, and look great ! I wish they made them for cars, too !

The Gatorback mud flaps I purchased from SharpTruck are very sturdy, functional, were easy to install and really enhanced the looks of my 2012 Ram Laramie.  Shortly after installation I got an offer I could not turn down to trade the 2012 Ram in on a 2019 Ram Limited.  I didn't want to part with them.  Unfortunately they would not fit the new style 2019 Ram.  One of my sons also has a 2012 Ram, so I gave them to him.  Looks great on his truck.  Now I will buy a set for the 2019.

Overall I think these are a great product. A little pricey in my opinion. These are the same flaps that you can buy from your Ford Dealer parts department as a Ford approved accessory. I really didn't want the big blue oval, or the 4X4, or the FX4, but I did want something that was going to fit right. These things fit great, look good, and do a very good job. I only wish that all of the bare aluminum brackets, washers, and screws came powder coated black. That would have made the product perfect. I ended up using etching primer and black paint on everything that you see when looking in the wheel wells, we'll see how well it holds up. I just think that installing these as they ship from Gatorback, they would like terrible. It seems like your eyes would go directly to all of the bright shiny parts holding the flaps in the wheel well. It's not a big deal but IMHO all of the hardware and brackets should come black like everything else in the wheel wells.

I was a little skeptical about paying this much for mud flaps but after looking at the cheap plastic ones I had to go with these. I love the way they add to my truck.
