I recently purchased these mudflaps for my AT4X. I had decided to forgo mudflaps on my new truck and then took it to Alaska. After paying to have all the all of the rock chips I incurred repainted, I decided mudflaps were in fact a necessity. These mudflaps are extremely high quality and perfectly fit the AT4X. I installed the front ones very easily without any tire removal. I also got the back ones on without tire removal, but it was very difficult and time consuming, so I would recommend taking just the back two tires off for a much easier install. I love that the actual flap at the bottom is easily removable when you need more clearance. I highly recommend these mudflaps to anyone who has purchased a GMC AT4X and has yet to install a set of mudflaps.
I bought these because I will be hauling a fifth wheel and wanted to protect my investment. These mud flaps are heavy duty and extra wide, which does a great job. It's a little bit tricky working around wheel wheel liners if you have them installed in your truck. But once I figured out how to do that. It was no problem installing them.
I bought the front mud flaps because the factory ones on the truck were to small. I was afraid of all the mud getting slung back onto the automatic up and down step assist would cause extra wear and tear. These mud flaps keep most of the dirt off the automatic step assist, and look great!
First of all let me say this, Justin and Matt are simply great at their job! I was so reluctant at first to purchase a set of flaps this expensive because I wanted to be absolutely sure they would fit my 2023 Chevy ZR2. After considerable back and forth communication with Justin and Matt in regard to this matter, I decided to go for it. Glad I did! Delivery was quick, all the parts were there (surprise huh!), and the look and feel of the Gatorback flaps was more than I anticipated. Top quality, great detail, perfect fit (all the holes line up with no problem) great truck eye candy for my ZR2! Installation is really easy; once I did the first one on the front (took about 45 minutes) and back (took about 30 minutes) the others went on in less than 15 minutes! Hint: you do have to drill the innermost hole for the front flap into the fender liner (no metal); I found that to get a good angle on the drill without removing the tire; simply turn the rear of the front wheel all the way to the outside then get under the truck and drill from behind the wheel; plenty of room to drill straight hole. The Gatorbacks look great, provide plenty of protection, and after all, that's what we want good flaps to do. Thank you Justin, Thank you Matt, Thank you Sharptruck!! However, I still have a little heartburn over the price. Just skip one meal a day for two weeks and you'll never miss the money! Hey, your ZR2 is worth it, right? Would definitely recommend these flaps for all ZR2 owners!
