I was thinking I didn't need them when I was shopping for the mud flaps, and that it would  just fine installing the flaps to the wheel well. I decided that I would buy the brackets just in case, and I could return them if I really didn't need them. The problem is that the mud flaps are very heavy, and well constructed far exceeding my expectations. So I decided 2 things ... 1) I don't want to tear up my truck by having my install fall apart later and possibly losing the mud flap and have to do body work to the truck. and 2) I want the mud flap to be as proudly displayed as I can possibly to show the quality that was put into it. Installation was mildly difficult because of the tight spacing and the amount of tools needed to perform the installation. The installation video was helpful in guiding me. !!!!!!!!!!TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!MAKE SURE THAT THE FLAPS ARE IN THE POSITION YOU WANT THEM TO BE BEFORE YOU SEND THE SCREWS HOME OR YOU WILL BE RE-DRILLING HOLES IN THE FLAP OR THE VEHICLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Just what I was looking for!

I was wanting to mount mud flaps on my 2001 F-350 and I just couldn't think of a good/easy way to mount them so they would be plenty sturdy. I found these and decided to give them a try. They are very sturdy and look good too! It is helpful to have an extra person to help out when mounting but other than that they are fairly self explanatory and easy to install. I would recommend these especially if you are trying to mount heavy rubber mud flaps! They work great!

Answer:
The bracket will not work with the liner. It would install the liner. You can use the liner to mount the flaps to to help support the mud flaps weight.

Question:
Will fender flares cause any mounting issues? Wanting to get flaps put on just haven't found a good solution with the flares. This looks like it maybe the ticket.

The flares will not interfere with these brackets. They install inside the wheel well
