Designed to mount your mud flaps away from the tires, these brackets provide essential extra space to help prevent rubbing, making them perfect for trucks with oversized tires. Made from 20-gauge 304 stainless steel, these brackets ensure durability and stability, offering a reliable mounting solution for your Gatorback or Razorback mud flaps.

Compatibility

  • Fits 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500
  • Fits 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500

Offset Design for Extra Clearance

The 5/8" offset in these brackets moves your mud flaps back away from the tire, providing the additional clearance needed to avoid rubbing, especially important for trucks with oversized tires. If your current tire clearance is less than 1" when turned, these offset brackets are highly recommended to ensure your mud flaps remain undamaged.

Material Quality

  • 20-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel: Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, these brackets offer resistance to rust and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance in tough conditions.

Installation Details

Truck Hardware Gatorback 5/8" Kickback Front Mud Flap Brackets provide a solid mounting point inside the front wheel wells for installing 12" Gatorback or Razorback mud flaps. Installation requires cutting mud flaps to the desired length and attaching them to the brackets. Some drilling is required to secure the brackets to the outer fender lip, ensuring a stable fit. Please note that these brackets are not recommended for trucks with OEM step bars that come up flush with the wheel well, as the offset may cause interference.

Questions & answers

1 question

Question: Are all the mounting brackets no drill as illustrated in the Ford videos? I have a 2017 Ram 2500 with factory fender flares.

Asked by Steven Haney 8/25/2017

Answer from the SharpTruck team: These particular brackets are no drill installation. But not all of the Truck Hardware brackets are. It depends on the vehicle and bracket.
