Truck Hardware Universal 12" Mud Flap Brackets - 1" Kickback

I used these with the Husky Liners Mud Dog Mud Flaps. There was not enough fender to secure the mud flaps enough for my liking. I was looking for a bracket to provide more support all around the mudflap. The install does involve cutting the rubber mud flap and connecting it to these brackets. The 12” wide and 1” offset bracket fit perfectly after doing the necessary cutting. I did purchase the bare metal brackets and sprayed them with 3M rubberized undercoating. My initial thoughts right after install are very positive. We will see if they hold up. Slightly concerned about how the metal will react to rocks in terms of noise and scratching but time will tell. Overall happy with the purchase.
