The Truck Hardware Gatorback Stainless Plate Mud Flaps set of 4 combines serious protection with formed 304 stainless steel plates with beveled edges for the 2025-2027 Ford Expedition King Ranch, King Ranch MAX, Platinum, Platinum MAX and Tremor. Gatorback is a premium mud flap built to a higher standard than typical aftermarket splash guards, and it shows the moment you pick one up. Each flap is made from heavy 1/2" thick virgin rubber designed to flex, not crack, in extreme temperatures, mounted on 18-gauge 304 stainless steel brackets with a 5/8" offset made for your Expedition, and backed by a lifetime warranty on the rubber. Whether you are hauling kids to school, heading off-road for the weekend, towing, or cruising the highway, these flaps keep doing their job.
These 12" wide flaps protect your SUV from rocks, mud, gravel, snow, slush and road debris, so you will see your Expedition staying cleaner longer, less mess on your step bars and trailer, and fewer chips on your doors and rear bumper. The polished stainless steel plates add a custom, OEM-inspired look that complements the Expedition's refined styling. Gatorback flaps are some of the highest quality, heaviest duty mud guards in the industry, and they are proudly made in Canada. If you are looking for mud flaps you buy once and never think about again, this is them.

Which Gatorback Is Right for Your Vehicle?
Gatorback mud flaps for the 2025-2027 Ford Expedition come in several versions. Use this quick guide to make sure you pick the right one:
- Trims that fit - This set is made for the 2025-2027 Ford Expedition King Ranch, King Ranch MAX, Platinum, Platinum MAX and Tremor. It is NOT compatible with the Expedition Active trim equipped with platform running boards.
- Black anodized vs. stainless brackets - Gatorback flaps for the new Expedition come with two bracket styles. Black anodized aluminum bracket versions give a stealthy, blacked-out look and mount directly over the OEM wheel well liners. Stainless bracket versions use formed 18-gauge 304 stainless steel brackets with a 5/8" offset for a polished look and extra clearance for side steps, power running boards and fender trim. This set uses 304 stainless steel brackets.
- Coverage - This set gives you approximately 8.875" of front and 8.125" of rear coverage from the bottom of the fender to the bottom of the flap.
- Choosing a style - This version is the polished stainless steel plate style. With stainless brackets, it is also available in: black Ford oval and plain rubber (no plate).
Features and Benefits
These mud flaps are built from high-grade, dense virgin rubber, 1/2" thick, that is flexible enough to handle extreme temperatures and resilient enough to stand up to years of daily driving. Each flap is 12" wide and gives you approximately 8.875" of front and 8.125" of rear coverage from the bottom of the fender to the bottom of the flap. That coverage helps prevent rocks, salt and slush from being kicked onto your lower panels, running boards, paint or trailer, especially important if you run larger wheels or aftermarket tires, and it keeps trailing vehicles cleaner and safer.
The flaps mount on formed 18-gauge 304 stainless steel brackets with a 5/8" offset. The offset lets the flaps clear wider tires and OE accessories such as factory side steps, power running boards and fender trim while still blocking debris kicked up by the tires, and the 304 stainless steel resists corrosion while providing stable, rigid support at the point of impact. Each flap carries a die-stamped 304 stainless steel plate with beveled edges for a clean, custom look that stands up to corrosion and oxidation.
Fit is built in. Unlike universal splash guards, Gatorback flaps are engineered for a clean, flush fit that looks like it came straight from the factory. They are designed exclusively for the 2025-2027 Ford Expedition King Ranch, King Ranch MAX, Platinum, Platinum MAX and Tremor for a precise fit, and they are not compatible with the Expedition Active trim with platform running boards. They work with your Expedition's factory wheel well liners and trim, with custom rear support brackets for a secure fit. No cutting or drilling into the body is required, preserving your SUV's original finish. Gatorback mud flaps are proudly made in Canada.

Installation is straightforward and drill-free. Care & Maintenance
- Rubber, routine cleaning: wash regularly with mild car wash soap and warm water, using a soft-bristle brush or sponge to remove mud, road salt and tar. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber towel to prevent water spots.
- Rubber, avoid harsh cleaners: petroleum-, solvent- or silicone-based products (including tire shines) can dry out or degrade the rubber and leave a greasy residue that attracts dust.
- Rubber, UV protection: in high-sunlight areas, apply a water-based rubber conditioner or UV protectant to maintain color and flexibility and prevent fading.
- Seasonal attention: clean more often in winter, on salted roads or in dusty environments to avoid buildup.
- 304 stainless steel plates and brackets: wipe with a soft microfiber cloth and a non-abrasive soap or a cleaner safe for stainless steel or chrome. Avoid bleach and acid-based cleaners, which can break down the protective chromium oxide layer.
- Polish as needed: treat mild surface rust or staining with a brass, silver or chrome polish, working in the direction of the grain. Never use steel wool, sandpaper or abrasive pads.
- Seal and protect: apply automotive wax or a synthetic sealant to guard against moisture, road grime and chloride salts.
- Avoid metal-on-metal contact: never store or mount stainless parts against plain steel or iron, which can cause galvanic corrosion.
- Inspect frequently, especially in marine, humid or winter conditions, and clean the flaps promptly after off-road driving or construction zones. Before storing the vehicle for an extended period, clean the flaps and make sure they are dry.
- Check the mounting hardware during seasonal changes and retighten if needed.

Plates, brackets and mounting hardware are not covered by the warranty for normal wear and tear, environmental exposure or damage from misuse or improper cleaning. To start a warranty claim, please provide product photos and proof of purchase.
