After trying to find the right Mud Flap that I thought I wanted to complement the upgrades I had just completed on my truck, trying to make sure it was going to FIT right and LOOK right with the flared fenders was yet another challenge. After calling and talking to the guy's at SHARPTRUCK they assured me these brackets and Mud Flap's would work and fit great. They were right. I'm extremely picky and have been called "EXTRA" with my vehicles. So, it actually took about an hour to get these measured out, lined up and installed, this is the brackets and the Mud Flaps, so about a half-hour a side. I think they look great and am "EXTREMELY" happy with the quality of the brackets and the MUD FLAPS.
I bought the AT4 gatorback mud flaps and thee came with as a package. Super easy to install and the fit perfect to the body line. My original splash guards were different then the ones shown on the video. I ended up have to get a couple bolts that weren’t on my old holdings but still got it to work. Matches up perfect with the rest of the fender flare. East install if you follow the video.
Looked at these right away and thought they were pretty expensive. I then read and noticed they did come with the finishing caps as well which helped a little. I ended up pulling the trigger because the stock “splash guards” weren’t keeping the body clean when I drove on gravel roads. Slapped these on and you don’t even notice I went down a gravel road plus they look awesome. East install. All around good product which it should be for the price.
I just replaced the original front Ford F 450 Super Duty mud guards. They are really cheap. The Gator back ones are really really Awesome. They look great plus they are made from real rubber and not like the original ones which are made from plastic. The instructions are not bad, the video is really much better. But turn your front wheels the opposite way they show in the video. Otherwise I would buy again. See the before and after photos and judge for your self.
Third truck I have put a set of these on and this set was the easiest to install, uses all factory hardware with no drilling or self tap screws required. There is no measuring height to make sure they're even just a little bit of adjustment in and out depending how far out you want them to be. Definitely worth the money and do great job of keeping the paint protected and the running boards clean.
They are ok. Great Starter until you make your own.

Instructions are difficult to understand but you can figure them out by looking at illustration and picture of them. The video for installing is for single rear wheel not for dually setup. You do not have much adjustment for adjusting the height mostly just for width. Personally would like my mudflaps to sit a little lower. The brackets to not hold the weight of the dually flaps very well you have to create additional mounting. just how they are, I would not trust that my mudflaps stay on while driving highway speeds. This is a universal kit may work for other applications just not with my truck and my gatorback mudflaps. Too bad that specific fit is not available for my year of truck. you can see on picture that when mounted to pinch weld height is fixed on bracket. Great tip is using locking pliers and 2x4 for install.
Excellent quality, Great Feel, Weighted, Gorgeous, Phenomenal Upgrade. You will not be disappointed! See the before and after transformation. No longer the embarrassment of the block!
